Thanksgiving and Civil War
Thanks giving was great. My mom picked me up in Portland at noon and we traveled on to Yakima, Washington where my Aunt Jane lives. We drove north from Portland on I% to hwy 12 and then headed East past Mount St Helens, over White Pass and into Yakima. We had family from Washington, Oregon and Idaho all there. We had a relaxing turkey day and on Friday morning we went up into the woods to cut Christmas trees. We alos watched football and played card. On Saturday morning we left Yakima early headed south the the Columbia river gorge and the west back into portalnd. From there my othere drove south to Ashalnd and I drove south to Corvallis whrer the 112th playing to the Civil war between the Uof O duck and the OSU beavers was being played. The Beavers lost at home and they don't get to go to the Rose Bowl this year. It was a tough loss against our arch rivals. On the way back to Portalnd last night I stopped in Salem to say hight to my friend Adam who was home from dental school in california. I now have 3 busy weeks of school left then winter break.
