SO CAL

the first several days of our short summer brake I went to Southern California to visit family and friends. we started off in San Diego, where we stayed with family. While I was there, I got a chance to meet up with my friend Andrew at Mission Beach where we rode the flow rider and hung out along the beach. The flow rider is a man made wave machine that you ride on. You ride a small board like you are surfing but it is on a 2 inch sheet of water. We then took the train to Pismo Beach where we stayed with our old neighbors for a few days. All in all we had a relaxing trip but I am glad to be back in Oregon. When I go to California I always get the sense that there are just too many people and so I am always relieved to be back home.
