Oregon Dental Convention

This last week I spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Oregon Dental Convention (ODC). It was a great experience. I met a whole bunch of dentist and attended lectures from some of the worlds experts on lasers, minimally invasive dentistry and implantology. It was really awesome to network with so many professionals and dental school faculty. The exhibitors were all really great about showing off their products and explaining the latests and greatest new technology. It was neat to go around to the loupes manufactures and see the difference. Loupes are the glasses that dentists wear that have the magnification built into them. I will be getting a pair once I get started at school. The keynote speaker at the event was Gert Boyle. She is the chairwoman of Columbia Sportswear. She gave a really entertaining presentation with the co-author of her book.
